I have an unusual small electric kiln. A friend's grandma's kiln. A neighbor made her this kiln to fire her china painting back in the 1970's. it is a very ingenious design and works well. I inherited it. It still fires. uses a regular outlet. email or call: 303-502-7207. thanksupdate: I just did a temperature test on the little kiln. using an analogue pyrometer, the kiln is above 1850 degrees. (it actually hit 1900 before I turned it off. it may go higher?) Perfect for electric raku firing! I was not originally thinking of selling the pyrometer. but I can see where a person might benefit from being able to gauge the temperature. I paid $85 a couple of years ago for the pyrometer, but never used it. so it is basically brand new...with the exception of this temperature test. I see these are now over $100. I would sell mine with the kiln as a package deal for $100 total for both. or kiln solo for the $75 and the pyrometer separately for $55. thanks Location: erie/longmont I-25
